What would our society be without industry?
Unique structures shape the landscape, create prosperity, provide work and a future. I would like to offer insights into various industrial sectors through photographs of industrial structures in terms of their architecture and their breathtaking machines.

Sometimes it can seem like that. Huge cooling towers, tall chimneys and monstrous structures cast large shadows on their surroundings. 
But without these structures our modern life today would not function. 
Their inner beauty through unique architecture, breathtaking dimensions and highly efficient technology make such buildings absolutely fabulous and wonderful to look at. Especially the older generation power plants, which are still heavily equipped with analog control technology, are true rarities in today's world.

Everything that is not preserved disappears quietly and unseen, yet it is these structures in particular that have made it possible for us to live in a modern society.

Their functionality seems relatively simple, but on closer inspection they are highly complex. Both in terms of architecture and, in particular, technical structure and control.
